i've been watching a lot of UK panel shows, mostly. the public perception of David Mitchell is in a bad spot right now following a recent tone-deaf article of his for the Guardian, but his furious reaction to Bob Mortimer's egg story on Would I Lie To You? has been replaying in my head all week. proper telly.
lots of taskmaster too. never mind the genre, taskmaster might be one of the best tv shows ever produced. it's nuts that they're getting to season 19 and every single one has been fantastic. an absurd amount of thought must go into building a season's cast; the dynamics are perfect just about every time.
as we say goodbye to the cold temperatures down here in florida, i'm getting some last-minute mileage out of my favorite winter albums.
